Each goes against their respective race’s stereotypes. Barack Obama is a black man who is intelligent, handsome, educated, not in jail, and humorous. Jamie Kennedy is a white man who is uneducated, stupid, hardly handsome, acts like people who are in jail, and the antithesis of humorous. Astounding, isn’t it? Furthermore, Obama has been called a great orator. Jamie Kennedy, according to Wikipedia, honed his voice impersonation skills after college. It’s no wonder so many are comparing Obama’s speeches to Kennedy, calling them JHK-esque (Jamie Kennedy’s middle name is Harvey). Clearly, there’s something about Kennedy.
